അണയും തിരിനാളമൊന്നുയർത്താം
ചിറകറ്റു ചിതയ്ക്കു കാവൽ നില്ക്കും
പരനുള്ളിലിടം കൊടുക്കാം
മിഴിനീരു വിതച്ചു പോയ മഴയിൽ
ഇഴപാകിയെടുത്ത സൗഹൃദങ്ങൾ
ഇനിയൊട്ടുമടർന്നിടാതെ നെഞ്ചിൽ
കിനിയും കുളിരായ് നിറയ്ക്കാം.

I dedicate this to my beloved father who left me in between without saying a good bye..... It was on a cloudy morning of 11th January 2002...he just went like that...still heart is painful to let go... Hey dad...come for a moment..just wish to sit with you..nothing more than holding your hands and walking along .... I really miss you... when I go each step up in my life...I hope..if you are there with me..
